This class picks up where Microbondage 101 leaves off! Fingers and toes and feet and hands as well as the naughty bits are about to be put into even more precarious predicament and pretty positions! We concentrate on maximizing bondage with a minimal amount of effort and materials. Various threads and weights will be discussed as well body positioning, and binding larger parts with minimal materials will be explored in this hands on workshop. (Microbondage 101 is not a pre-requisite but is strongly encouraged. Bring a crochet hook and pretty ribbons or yarn - limited supplies will be available.)

Description: This beginner- to intermediate-level workshop will provide a brief philosophical background on antibondage, followed by a presentation of antibondage in action and an opportunity for participants to try techniques for themselves. Specific techniques presented may include the use of bowlines and daisy chains to prevent cinching of rope wraps subjected to antibondage forces; the use of the gravity boot tie with a bucket dolly to create an anti-ball-and-chain; combining an arm binder tie, a couple of toilet seats, and some wheels to turn your bottom in a mop or other humiliation object; and using hip harnesses and chest harnesses with rolling knees pads, arm tubes, and foot carts to “asselerate” your bottom for more energetic sex and sadism. Depending on time, the use of suspension techniques with antibondage may be discussed as well.

Sue McGarvie has been a clinical relationship therapist for 17 years, with a background in reproductive medicine and psychology. She has also hosted a syndicated call-in radio show, (CFRB- Toronto, CJAD- Montreal, and CKQB- Ottawa) and an internationally renowned television series on Global Television and The Movie Network. She is the author of three books on sexuality. Sue, along with her partner Blaik Spratt have developed a new travel series about romantic adventure travel to vacation spots around the world.

Blaik, who has a degree from The University of Western Ontario in biological sciences, has been dubbed “Professor Squirt” for his humorous and candid explanation of the anatomy of G Spot stimulation and female ejaculation. Between them they have co-authored a new book about relationships called The Ethical Hedonist. The book describes the new trends in sex and how to act on them with integrity.

I believe that many in the community’s hearts are in the right places but not having the skill set associated with pedagogy is holding them back from becoming stellar presenters. Being able to impart information in an informal way is a valuable tool - many can become exceptional presenters with the right amount of guidance. Educating educators is something that communities need to focus on for future growth. As a formally trained educator I believe it is important to help others along so that they can grow themselves.
